Submission to the literature database „how microbes sense and respond to acid stress“. (link to white paper)
Overall Objective
To develop a publicly accessible database of literature on all aspects of how microbes sense and respond to low pH.
The long-term goal is to use this database to develop a deeper understanding of the mechanisms used by microbes to cope with acid stress by facilitating research on this topic, helping to identify common themes between different species and by prompting new lines of research investigation.
The goal is to develop a broad database covering microbes from all three domains of life.
